I cannot believe it is Friday already! This week has flown by. Rebecca and I were watching the Tour de France together this morning – at least virtually. We were both on our computers at www.versus.com and emailing each other during the race. Rebecca’s comment on how the race turned out today was “poo.” My sentiments exactly.
Ann and Josh are on their way to Atlanta. They will spend the night with Dave, and Dave will take them to the airport in the morning for their flight to Mexico. They are going to The Royal at Playa del Carmen (http://www.realresorts.com/The_Royal_Playa_Carmen), an all-inclusive resort. Ann is convinced the resort will lose money on Josh, who is a big guy and can eat and drink quite a lot! Of course, Ann is tiny, and it may all balance out. Anyway, the grand-dogs are firmly ensconced, and Claudia is majorly miffed. She is going to be one unhappy pup for several days. The kids don’t return until next Friday, assuming of course, they escape the beheading that Jane has predicted…. Meanwhile, Jane and Joe will be gone next week for their vacation at Beaver Creek in Colorado. Someone is babysitting their dog, Mia, so Claudia won’t have a complete breakdown.
Well, I am very disappointed [Debbie’s words were “udderly” disappointed], but none of the Grove Girls had a cow costume. Debbie, who lives on “acreage,” unlike many of us who live on small lots, sent a photo of her deer costume instead. Deb is such a funny funny girl….
